Summary: Great MacBook Pro Companion
Comment: This is a great product to go with your MacBook Pro. Apple really should have included these slots by default, but this is an excellent alternative that simply works.

Summary: 21 IN 1 Multimedia Reader/writer Expresscard 34SLOT Mac/pc
Comment: Fits into the slot of MacBook Pro and doesn't stick out. Easy way to download picture cards. Very happy with it. Amazon has a great price.

Summary: Great Product
Comment: I needed something for my MacBook Pro so that I could transfer pictures to my computer by using my SD card. This is perfect for that. The Expresscard stays in my computer without having to install any programs and is pretty much unnoticeable from the outside. You can see two little black bumps sticking out at either side of the card so it's not 100% flush with the side of the computer but it comes pretty close. Overall, a great product that I don't regret purchasing.

Summary: Fits flush!
Comment: Fits flush on the 34mm slot on my Macbook Pro. Works great. Pity Apple doesn't make a multiformat card reader standard.

Recommended.

Summary: Adds What the MacBook Pro Should Have Had
Comment: A product that does exactly what it claims, and does what Apple should have done in the first place.

First, it sits 99% flush with the side of the MBP, which means you can leave it in the computer when you place the computer in even the most snug cases. Second, it simply works--pop in an SD card or Memory Stick, and it appears on the desktop. Third, did I mention it simply works? It complements the Mac line and OS quite well in that respect.

My only complaint, which is easily addressed, is that when used with Memory Sticks, you must use one hand to hold the card in while you pull the Memory Stick out. This is because the pin connection for the Memory Stick is quite snug, and if you do not, you'll pull out the entire card reader. SD cards, however, work perfectly--not too snug, and easily pull out.
