Comment: Have owned this over a year and haven't had any problems with it whatsoever. It is the same charger that comes with the Digital Rebel XT.

Comment: I love this charger -- it's small enough to fit in my camera bag, pocket, or purse; the prongs conveniently fold down so it's very portable. It also works fairly quickly -- it would often recharge my videocamera battery in just a few hours. Instead of having to plug in my camera to charge the battery, rendering it inoperable during that time, with a second battery I can use the camera while the other battery is charging.
This came in very handy on a recent land/sea trip to Alaska; I was constantly draining the battery videotaping everything from whales to bears to glaciers, but with this little charger, I always had a backup battery ready to use. I highly recommend it!

Comment: I intentionally purchased the same battery charger that came with my camera after losing the original. This product does exactly what I need it to do. There may be "off brands" available that are cheaper, or even cheaper websites to purchase this product, but I don't trust them. I have always had good luck with Amazon.com and will continue to do business with them. I have never had a problem.
