Summary: Simple Yet Functional Upgrade
Comment: A must have if you shoot more the the average bear...
Being a pro photographer, I use a high-end Canon 5D (which takes amazing photos by the way) because I prefer the performance of the full-frame sensor. Among a few other things that this model lacks in comparison to its professional big brothers, the 1D series, is an extended eye piece. It may seem like a trivial thing at first until you have taken thousands of photos.
After having turned my face diagnally for extended periodes of time to make a flush connection with the viewfinder, I found that my eye would begin to fatigue from looking up and to the right for so long. With my new viewfinder extension, I feel much less eyestrain and I can shoot at peak performance for much longer periods.
Given the nature of this device, it does "shrink" the view a bit which has its pros and cons. While it may not be ideal for your detailed macro or manually focused shots, for me it's a small trade off since easy to see all my meters and composition effortlessly through the eyepiece. Plus it's so easy to remove and re-install that it's a win-win.

Summary: no use.. resting in my backpack
Comment: The product is nice, but useless.. it's resting in my backpack since I bought it. It makes the viewvinder so smaller you cant check focus and other caracteristics of the image.

Summary: A must for folks with glasses
Comment: If you have glasses and are tired of smudging your display with your nose, here is the answer. This is an absolute must. I can't believe I went this long with out getting it sooner.

Summary: It works good with some modification
Comment: I was disappointed with not being able to see the screen well, but noticed that it keeps my nose from hitting the screen too much. I fixed the magnification issue by removing the two screws from the back and taking out the magnifiers. Put it back together and it works great. I haven't had problems with it slipping off because I usually remove it and cover the eyepiece with that rubber thing thats on the strap when its in the case. I would give it a 5 but it gets a 4 cause I had to take it apart to use it! should be $5 cheaper and not have the magnifiers in it.

Summary: The quality as the price is
Comment: It seem not properly fit with my 40d, I mean not tight enough to be attached securely at the camera body, but if you didn't push hard on this piece, it will be ok and not slip off from the place.
