Summary: Excellent long-lasting battery
Comment: We had purchased an after-market replacement battery when our original (which was about 5 years old) died. The after-market battery only held the charge for about 1/2 a day. Found this battery on Amazon and used it on vacation in the beginning of Feb. When traveling again at the beginning of March, realized that we never took the charger out of the suitcase - this battery hasn't needed a recharge yet! We haven't used it all day long so far, but we do use it at least a couple times a week. As good as the original!

Comment: Why did the old battery swell up and stop working? I dunno. But since the camera uses this battery, I am up and running after a quick delivery.
