Comment: I purchased this with my new Canon Powershot 590IS recently, and coincidentally it fits perfectly!

It alsohas a pouch that can hold up to 4 AA batteries, a couple of SD cards, or just mix and match. In addition it also has a strap in the back to so you can insert your belt with if needed.

The Case itself looks and feels very durable and genuine.

Definitely worth the $10 buy! (:
