Summary: Great Photo Printer
Comment: We purchased this all in one for our home office. We had an HP all in one that was good but the scanner was not compatible with Vista. This Canon prints quickly and is easy to operate. It has two paper trays, we keep one loaded with plain paper and the other with photo paper. We are happy with it so far, my only complaint is that it is on the bulky side and takes up a little room than I had hoped.

Comment: The only tricky thing was installing the software on the first computer in the network, which also requires a USB connection as well as the network connection. I had to do this 3 times as I had not turned off my firewall. My fault as the instructions were clear! After that the other computers went easily and now it works great in every way.

Comment: worked great with both my Mac and Windows PCs. Network printing and scanning are excellent. Its great to be able to scan from the printer and choose what computer it dumps it to. A full 5 stars for not only great windows support, but also mac support. Have only had it for a few weeks, but no operational issues yet.

Comment: I have never been so happy as the day my old HP all-in-one bit the dust. Print quality was terrible and installation was a nightmare. The MX 850 was a snap to install (at least with my Mac), and the quality is far superior than HP. It is very quiet and smooth and prints quickly. Even though it is new to me, so far I love it!

Comment: Love this printer! It's fast, prints a 4x6 picture in about 5 seconds and double sided page w/15% fill in about 10 seconds. The photos came out better than my old Epson Stylus Photo printer. Very quiet for both scanning and printing. With fax and one touch copies with duplex. The network works great, setup in about 30 min. That includes setting up from box to initial driver and apps. The network printing is a life saver, it allowed all four of my computers to print, scan, and fax to a single device. Print and scan quality are excellent with very good color matching.
The vendor shipped it with care and arrived within 2 weeks of ordering.
