Summary: Good thing I read the reviews on the tripod
Comment: I read this tripod on an earlier Amazon review that said the tripod is tiny, and so when I got it in the mail I was not surprised since the pictures make it seem bigger than it is. It works fine, but don't have too much use for it since I'm always on the go with my flip.

Comment: It's also compatible with any kind of camera wich in my case was quite convenient. I needed a little tripod. It comes with a set of different colors for the plastic ends thingy.

Comment: I haven't found this kind of tripod very useful but I can understand when it would be favored over a traditional tripod. I prefer my traditional tripod most of the time because it has many adjustments and a bubble level to show my tripod is level. If space is a problem and you have a variety of surface heights to use, then the flip tripod would work fine. The legs are bendable and work independently and it does hold the flip camcorder steady.
