Summary: Water proof Case (NOT)
Comment: The first time I went in the water with my new Flip Camera in this Water proof case it leaked. Before I was able to swim a short distance to the reef I noticed air bubbles and before I was able to get back to land my camera was wet and would not work.I called the company in Ca. that makes both camera and case and they have sent me a UPS label and I have returned both now I am wating for the replacements.

Comment: The case is perfectly waterproof until you put the camera in it. It seems that the camera is slightly too big (or case too small) and puts back pressure on the seals causing it to leak. We tested ours in the family fish tank and watched it carefully and sure enough it leaked. If we attempted to push any buttons, the leak occured more quickly and more vigerously which would be consistent with it being a discrepency between the case size and camera size. Without the camera in the case the case didn't leak no matter how often or hard we pushed the buttons again proving our theory of size issues. Thankfully, we watched carefully and didn't ruin our camera.

Comment: expected more of the case, as the manufacturer is saying 30 feet but unfortunatly the controlls started acting up below 3 meters and so no chance to film while diving, was good for snoorkling so.

Comment: I recently went on a Caribbean cruise and wanted to get this case for my flip camera. It is truly amazing how great it works and was able to get some amazing videos of snorkeling etc.

Summary: Underwater case does not work-will not allow camera to turn on
Comment: Purchased this case in May 2008. I had purchased 3 others previously, and two out of the three worked O.K. One leaked, but we fixed that problem ourselves. Then I bought mine, and didn't get an opportunity to use it until October. And, my bad, I didn't try it out. Well, when you put the camera inside the case, it won't turn on. The "on-off" button on the case is too far from the switch on the camera. Thus not allowing it to turn on. I can turn the camera on, then place it in the case, but that isn't very feasible when you are in the water!!! Since two out of four I purchased did not work properly, I am not at all pleased with this case!!!
