Summary: Easy to use
Comment: I bought this camera just before going abroad on a trip and was very please with what I got. It's very simple and easy to use. I was a little disappointed that it doesn't seem to have a video recording feature, but it is a good point and shoot for a good price!

Summary: A Gift Worth Giving
Comment: This was a gift for my 13 y/o son on his birthday.
He said he read the instructions, maybe, but it was so easy to use he had mastered each feature in no time.
Customer Rating:

Summary: small and fast, but bad movies and macro
Comment: small size and good pic quality make this a decent camera for family use.
deal Breakers:
MOVIES have terrible sound. constant mechanism noise and audio recording is very quiet. other reviewers had similar problems. also, you cannot adjust zoom while filming; have to stop, zoom, start
MACRO mode is a joke. don't even try to take product photos with this camera! i was spoiled by my old fuji S5500 (lost) which took AMAZING "super macro" shots
Sweeteners:
Very fast power-on time and good speed between shots (roughly 1.5 seconds)
particularly great "sports" mode. with flash, sports mode cannot capture motion blur no matter how hard you try! a dozen or so other modes such as "baby" "museum" "beach" "fireworks" etc. are kind of fun but haven't seen much actual use.

Summary: Great Camera
Comment: This is a great little camera and priced just right. I love to take pictures for fun- so i'm no professional here, but I must say, it captures the images perfectly even when my hand isn't perfectly still or if i haven't focused properly. I still get a great picture. A great buy!

Summary: Ok not worth more than $90
Comment: Pros:
inexpensive (I paid $90) - I would say it's worth it at $90 but not much more.
small - fits in my pocket without being uncomfortable.
easy to use
Good pictures in good light
Battery - charges quickly lasts a while
Cons:
Horrible night photos
Flash bleaches the color
blurry photos in lower light or without flash
All in all this is an ok camera. I wasn't expecting anything amazing, but I thought it may perform slightly better at night. Since I'll primarily be using it for hiking (i.e. the daytime), I'm not too worried. Knowing what I know now I may have spent an extra $30-$50 for something better under non ideal lighting conditions, but this will do until I break it.
