Summary: Good charger, great batteries
Comment: This is the second Eneloop charger I've bought, since my brother took my original one to college. The charger is simple and functional; a red LED indicates that it's charging, and when the light turns off, the charging is complete.
I use Eneloop AAA batteries for my MP3 player, where they work for at least a week and sometimes more than 2 weeks between charges. Disposable alkaline batteries are a waste of money and are environmentally unfriendly since they usually end up in a landfill, but these Eneloop batteries save time and the environment by being rechargeable.
I've used other rechargeables before, and they started losing life after a few months to a year. I've been using my original Eneloops every day for at least 3 years, with no noticable decline in battery life (not that I've been measuring).

Summary: Great for flashes
Comment: I use a Metz flash on my Canon 40D. It is a major battery hog. Before shooting an indoor wedding I put in a fresh set (4 AA) of batteries. When using standard batteries I would need to change batteries between the ceremony and the reception. With these Sanyo Rechargeable Batteries I was able to do the Ceremony and all of the reception without needing to put in new batteries. Needless to say I am VERY happy with this product and recommend it for any item that is a battery hog.

I shot 700+ varied power frames in 1 day on both Nikon SB600 and SB800 before the batteries died on the SB800. I could not be happier with these batteries. They come ready and recharging them is quick and easy. Buy as many as you think you need. They haven't let me down.
