Comment: My parents bought me this camera for my birthday to start out my photography, which I have grown in love with. Although not as effective as SLRs, the pictures come out beautifully. My sister's Nikon D40 has 8.4 megapixels, while this one is only .3 below it.
The modes come in handy for different environments. There is even a mode that teaches you how to use the camera. In certain modes you can control the ISO of the image, sharpness, color filters, size, and many other things.

Comment: The processing speed between photo's is 10 seconds so you can not take any action shots with this camera.
