Summary: It is a true Apple product.
Comment: It works like a charm. With much higher density of media, the competibility of DVD-R (and/or DVD-RW,DVD+R,DVD+RW,DVD-RAM) media can cause much trouble with home DVD player as well as the standard DVD Drivers for computers. With Apple DVD-R media I never experienced such troble. I am a home video maniac and I have burned tons of DVDs for my friends and relatives. Using name brand media such as Sony and TDK reduces rate of serious trouble significantly, but with Apple media, you can always be sure the result will be trouble free with similar price.
