Comment: I bought Earnie for my 16 Month old Daughter for Xmas 2007. She wanted nothing to do with him because I guess he was scary and noisy but now she is a year older and loves him so much that she takes him everywhere. It is a good and durable toy and I'm going to get the Cookie Monster this year for her. She also has the TMX Elmo and Baby Elmo as well.

Comment: Well, I bought this one on sale because I love the blue Cookie Monster that's kind of similar to this one. But it's not as much fun as the Cookie monster. My son pretty much ignores it. I would recommend getting the Cookie monster instead.

Summary: Not so sure about this toy
Comment: I bought this since my daughter loves her Tickle Me Elmo, and she loves Ernie. She's been a little scared of it since it starts very abruptly, so we've barely used it. I'm not sure if she will grow into it since she is only 8 months old, but as for now, its really not suitable for her. It also lacks the diversity of laughs and moves that Elmo has.

Comment: This one (and the cookie monster one too) is SOOOO CUTE! I can't believe that it can stand up, sit down, roll onto his back (while having a laugh attack) turn to his side, and belly laugh that way, sit back up, grunt and rock to a bowing position, and then stand back up again.
