Comment: Works perfectly. It is very fast with my UDMA card. It reads fast and yo can edit the information on the card while it is in the reader and that is also very very fast. I highly recommend Lexar.

Summary: Good looking but slow with 300X CF card
Comment: Using a new Lexar 300X UDMA 8GB CF card, the best write speed I could get was 26 MB/sec.; read speed was 32 MB/sec. The card is rated at 45 MB/sec write speed. I've run the card to 38 MB/sec using an Addonics SATA adapter, so clearly the reader is on the slow side. The SD card write speed was 19 MB/sec with a 133X Lexar card, which is very good. Form factor and appearance are good. USB cable was missing from the package. If you're not bothered by the write speed, then I think it merits four stars.

Comment: I really like the Lexar Dual-slot USB reader. It's fast, compact, and comes with great documentation.

The "0" part is I ordered it from Beach Camera through Amazon.com. The package looked factory-sealed to me, but even though the box and the documentation stated the USB cable was included--wait for it--the USB cable was missing.

Yep..I had an extra cable and was in business right away, but jeez--yet another camera dealer apparently stripping accessories from products!

THIS ITEM IS LIKE SO COOL. I HAVE THE DELL POWEREDGE 400SC AND IT DOENST HAVE A SD SLOT FOR IT. SO WHEN I BOUGHT THIS, MY DREAM CAME TRUE, BUT NOW ITS STICKING OUT AND PEOPLE ARE LIKE ALL THE TIME, WHAT THE HECK IS THAT. BUT OTHER THAN THAT, IT IS REALLY NICE AND I RECOMMEND IT FOR PEOPLE WHO DONT HAVE SD SLOTS ON THEIR COMPUTER. AND ONLY IF THEY LIKE NEED IT.
