Comment: I recieved my lens about a month ago and have been nothing but pleased. It focuses fast, takes great pictures, and was very affordable. I have absolutely no complaints. My dad has a simliar Nikon lens for his D90 but admited after taking some pictures with my D40 that he did not see a difference other than the price which my lens was about $250 less. He is now considering buying one for my mom's D40. Excellent lens. I highly recommend it.

Comment: Being a novice camera owner, I needed a better zoom lens for my nikon D40 slr. The sigma af 70-300 lens is a good lens for what we need. It's a little heavy, but it performs very well. The pictures we've taken since receiving the lens are all clear and with a little getting used to, this lens is exactly what we wanted.
