Comment: This unit does everything I was hoping for. I use it on my DCR-TRV22. I've tested it in varying light and the result is always a terrific snapshot picture. The camera only needed a flash designed for the camcorder e/w its own battery source.

Comment: the basis of this product, doesn't match with the slot of the camera, it is rounded and the camera's slot is blocked. my video camera model is dcrhac/42; so I have make it to match, because if I sent it back will be more cost. for me. But it works with the camera and takes beatyful photos.
